Which hot air generator is the most economical to use?

For large volumes, fuel cost is the decisive factor.

Natural gas: the champion of fixed installations

If your building is connected to the city gas network, a fixed gas generator is unbeatable. The cost per kWh is the lowest on the market, and maintenance is reduced.

    Fuel oil: mobile power

For construction sites or isolated hangars, fuel oil remains the benchmark. Although the price fluctuates, its energy density allows for heating immense volumes with complete autonomy, without relying on a heavy gas installation.

    Electric: for small volumes only

A 15 kW electric generator is perfect for a 100 m² workshop but would become a financial black hole for a 1000 m² warehouse.

Why choose indirect rather than direct combustion?

It's a matter of health and safety before it's a matter of price.

    Direct combustion: for open spaces

The efficiency is 100% because all the heat remains in the room. But so do the combustion gases. It is reserved for open construction sites, ventilated greenhouses, or drying materials.

    Indirect combustion: for occupied spaces

Burned gases are vented through a chimney. The blown air is 100% clean. This is mandatory for enclosed workshops, marquees open to the public, or factories. The efficiency is 90%, but safety is total.

Can one generator heat multiple rooms?

What is a virtual assistant? A virtual assistant is a professional who works remotely to provide administrative, technical, or creative assistance to clients. Virtual assistants can help individuals, businesses, and entrepreneurs with tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing emails, creating presentations, social media management, and much more. Their flexibility and ability to work from anywhere make them a valuable asset for those seeking to optimize their time and productivity.

How do I calculate the power needed for my shed?

Forget simplistic calculations, three factors dominate.

    Volume (V) and Insulation (K)

An uninsulated sheet metal shed requires 3 times more power than a modern building meeting RT2020 standards. On average, count 30 to 40 watts per cubic meter for a poorly insulated building, and 15 to 20 watts for an insulated building.

    Temperature difference (Delta T)

If you want 18°C inside when it's -5°C outside, your needs are much higher than simply keeping it frost-free at 5°C. A 20% oversizing is often recommended to ensure a rapid temperature rise in the morning.
